In the Results section, describe each figure and panel in detail using past tense and active voice, ensuring you present results in a logical order. Be precise about methods, comparisons, and statistical validations, and avoid discussing the data—save interpretations for the Discussion section. Conclude with a summary of your overall findings.
In the discussion section, place your study’s results in context with existing literature, comparing and contrasting findings. Use primary literature for citations, avoid excessive use of review articles, and conclude with a concise summary of your study’s impact and future implications.
The abstract is the most-read part of your manuscript and should be well-crafted, summarizing the study's introduction, methods, results, and discussion in 250-300 words. Keywords should be 5-8 precise terms reflecting your study, while the title needs to be concise and different from the keywords. Highlights, if required, should be 3-5 bullet points, each up to 85 characters, showcasing the novelty of your work.
