In the Results section, describe each figure and panel in detail using past tense and active voice, ensuring you present results in a logical order. Be precise about methods, comparisons, and statistical validations, and avoid discussing the data—save interpretations for the Discussion section. Conclude with a summary of your overall findings.
The introduction should briefly outline the research topic, providing background and context, then delve into relevant details and describe the study's objective or rationale. Write in present tense for published data and switch to past tense for your own experiments, ensuring all cited sources are appropriately referenced, with a focus on primary literature for specific details.
After submitting your scientific manuscript, an editor will first evaluate it; if deemed potentially publishable, it will then be sent to reviewers, which can take time. If revisions are required, respond politely to each suggestion and resubmit through the journal's portal, following the necessary formatting, until it is ultimately accepted and published online.
